The family Christmas

Christmas for the Johnson family was rather an intimate affair this year. Bethanie was in Austria and Lachlan down at Melbourne. Mum, Dad and Levi and Pete and Stinky (Bonehead) all came over on Christmas Eve.

We had a lovely dinner of Roast Turkey and Roast Pork, followed by Mum's wonderful Plum Pudding - very yumlicious and not at all bad for the waistline I am sure!!! It was wonderful to have them all stay overnight (Mum and I had a bit of fun getting Pete to bed..... a job made much easire if he would just shut up and stop making us laugh!)
We enjoyed a breakfast of fruit-salad, muesli and yoghurt followed by waffles with banana and maple syrup and croissants with ham and cheese.
Sheree, Clem and Elijah arrived on Christmas morning and we got stuck into the food again - this time prawns, bugs and whiting with salads for lunch.... followed by fresh fruit salad.
After lunch we opened the presents - a lot of fun with Elijah getting into the spirit of things and tearing into the wrapping paper.

Late in the afternoon we cleaned up and everyone headed off on their merry way.... while I packed the car and drove up to Woodford for the folk festival.... arriving up there at midnight and ending Christmas day bedded down in my swag under the stars. Bliss!
